The Girl Scouts in West Caldwell NJ were taught first aid procedures by Scott Larson of Safety NJ.  The scouts learned bandaging, the use of a sling, chest compressions, burn treatment and other useful information.  The girls were earning their first aid badge for scouting.   Safety NJ is an American Heart Association training site located in Bloomfield, NJ.  The program was presented at the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad.  At the end of the program the girls had a tour of one of the ambulances.  For information on CR and First aid training please visit the Safety NJ website www.safetynj.com and for first aid equipment go to www.safetynjsupplies.com.
